Met a friend here. The sushi is pretty good. I don't think it's spectacular but it's adequate. A little pricey for lunch. Service was good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable.

There was no wait to be seated when I went for a late dinner. I got the Pebble Beach Roll and the Spider Roll. The Pebble Beach roll might have a bit too many types of fish all rolled into one. I think I would prefer a simpler roll with just one or two types of fish. The spider roll was very tasty. The crab was hot and freshly fried. The only problem was the cucumber was bitter and I ended up picking them out. Otherwise it was great. I would love to try some of their other rolls.

Took one of my employees here for their birthday lunch. I am pretty picky when it comes to sushi because there are a lot of things I don't particularly love. I heard this place was out of this world so I had to try it and when she said she wanted sushi we were on our way, when we arrive we were seated promptly. The server was pretty nice there wasn't very many people in there but that was OK. I help with the service being fast on our lunch hour. We got the tempura appetizer and we each got the big daddy roll. Mine, of course, had no cucumbers, hers did and we both really enjoyed everything- super fresh. The flavor was great the restaurant is clean and the people were nice in a day and age where you have to have some Instagram worthy item- this traditional well balanced food was perfect.

We wanted to stop in and try and some rolls for a quick meal. Our server greeted us right away and the food came out quickly. I asked about what the upcharge for escolar might be on a roll and was told "shouldnt be more than $4", so decided not to even check. We really liked the Js Gone Wild roll the best! It had a great combination of flavors with the smoked salmon, torched scallop and sauces. Totally worth the price. The Big Sur #2, which comes with cucumber instead of rice, was pretty good but lacked flavor and for $18.50 was only 5 pieces. We enjoyed the Eternal Sunshine too and had was flavorful. I would recommend the Js Gone Wild and Eternal Sunshine rolls.
